The ticking, woven from wool, silk, and viscose, breathes and softens at first contact to condition the microclimate. The upholstery layers progress from resilient British fleece wool to premium horsetail, then to the finer Real Shetland Wool and cashmere blend, followed by a wool and organic cotton core for body and absorbency. A two-layer vanadium steel calico pocket spring system, with 3,296 springs in a King, responds independently to weight and movement for continuous support, while the perimeter is reinforced by coir, wool, and four rows of hand side-stitching to preserve edge-to-edge sleep surface and long-term shape. Each mattress is hand-tufted with woollen tufts and twine to lock the layers in stable depth across use.
